”Lost spots” . They’re fierce, fast and fur-ious. And they are losing their favourite spots. No, I´m not talking about their actually spots, but they ARE losing their precious homes! Why? Well, you may never have walked into a supermarket with it written on your shopping list, but you’ve certainly walked out with bags full of it. Yes, I am talking about palm oil. . We eat it, clean our homes and bodies with it and even fuel our cars with it. But our demand for palm oil is wreaking havoc on the planet. Today palm oil is found in over half of all consumer goods with the result that the equivalent of 300 football fields is destroyed every hour to make way for palm oil plantations. Palm oil is a major factor of deforestation, rapidly destroying the important homes of already endangered species. . So why not just stop buying it?Well, boycotting palm oil all together sounds pretty easy, but it’s not the answer. It would just shift the problem to other parts of the world and threaten other habitats and species. But what we need to do is demanding more action from the big companies to tackle the issues of responsible palm oil. Because good palm oil exists! . So great news for lovers of Nutella’s chocolaty goodness, you can keep indulge in our delicious snack without worrying it is contributing to rainforest destruction and animal favourite spots. We just all have to say yes to good palm oil! . . . #wildlife #leopard #savetheanimals #palmoil #deforestation #instawildlife  #animallovers #helpanimals #animalrights #digital_indo #igcreative_editz #naturegeography #splendid_vibe #gramslayers #heatercentral #thegraphicspr0ject #creative_ace #thecreativers #visualmobs #milliondollarvisuals #creativegrammer #artofinstagram #discoverglobe #ourplanetdaily #ps_wild #enter_imagination #launchdsigns #theuniversalart #savetheplanet #dailyart

”Rhinocorn" . The magical rhinoceros. A fictional creature that has been described since ancient times as a majestic beast with a large, pointed horn projecting from its forehead. These brilliant animals are common in many old fairytales and folklore, as they are big, beautiful, and absolutely badass. . So, see something wrong with that intro? Yeah, it´s about unicorns, I just changed the name. But this is were we soon are at. The rhinos only being a character of magical children books and stunning tales you tell your kids about before they go to sleep. . There was a time when rhinos roamed around Earth. They have been around for 40 million years – far longer than human beings. These days may soon be gone. There were one million rhinos at the turn of the 19th century, a number that has declined dramatically. Today there´s only 29,000 left. These critically endangered animals fight for the survival and against extinction. And the enemy… well, you guessed it. Us humans. . Rhinos have horns which make them lucrative targets for the illegal trade in rhino horn. And you know what the most wicked thing is? People are buying rhino horn nowadays for emotional benefit rather than medicinal. I´m not kidding. It gives them social status among their peers. I am talking about highly educated and successful people who have a powerful social network. Thats so scary. . So, what can you do? Well, if you are killing rhinos to impress your friends, just stop! I kid of course, I know you are far more intelligent than that:) But what you CAN do even if you don´t live in South Africa, is donate to a rhino protection organization of choice. They are the true heroes who risk their life to protect these wonderful creatures from poachers. . . . #ps_magic #ps_opposites #savetherhino #wildlife #savetheanimals #instawildlife #creativegrammer #animallovers #helpanimals #animalrights #creative_ace #gramslayers #visualmobs #milliondollarvisuals #illgrammers #worldofartist #artofinstagram #artinspiration #art_daily #ps_wild #art_select #thevisualones #houseoftones #digital_indo #enter_imagination #launchdsigns #theuniversalart #discoveredits #thecreativers

”Flovemingo” . Double-tap to fill the flamingo heart with your love. . Waaait a minute.. is this just some trick to get a few extra likes? Well, I´ll leave that up to you;) But above anything; No! This here is a little way to show respect. A chance to throw some much needed love back to the animals. Because they do deserve it. . Why? Well, I am so glad you asked. . Animals. Our companions, our workers, our eyes and ears, and for a lot of people; a source for love. They appear in ancient cave paintings, and on modern commercial farms. While some remain wild and are sometimes threatened by our activities, others have been domesticated and now serve as fellow companions in our lives. . They give so much, and being around them is nothing short of being around unconditional love. Animals are non-judgemental by design, and they constantly give people near them something to love. They comfort, the give support, and they stay by your side no matter what. . I was lucky enough to be allowed pets growing up. The love you receive from a pet is a truly great feeling. Their love is selfless and they care for others. No strings attached. When an animal displays it’s love for you, you know it’s for real:) . As Mahatma Gandhi would say, "The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated.” . We need animals. And the animals need us intelligent humans to love them back. So this post here, is dedicated to ALL the animals, not just the threatened ones. Because every animal alive deserve a little love. . . . #flamingo #heart #digital_indo #earthfocus #ps_wild #instawildlife #art_select #naturegeography #splendid_vibe #way2ill #heatercentral #Earthgallery #creative_ace #beautifuldestinations #thecreativers #discoverwildlife #milliondollarvisuals #creativegrammer #natgeoyourshow #visualgrams #artofinstagram #artinspiration #illgrammers #artoftones #wildlifeplanet #photoshopart #enter_imagination #launchdsigns #ps_opposites

"Fluffy cow" . When thinking about fluffy cute animals we might imagine a gorgeous fox, or even some cute squirrels. There is, however, a breed of fluffy cows who are as adorable and as heart-melting as the charming creatures mentioned above. Introducing the cutest cows – Highland cattle. . This Scottish long haired cow breed stands out of the rest because of their luxurious coats – the longest of any cattle breed. It also means that Scottish Highland baby cows are the cutest little moos ever, just head for Google and type in Highland baby cows and you´ll instantly feel the urge for some cow-ddles;) . The Highland cattle also have long and distinctive horns, which they use to dig deep into the in search for food. Because we all need food, right? Did you know that Highland is actually the oldest registered breed in the world? The Highland breed is mostly used for beef production. Yeah, this is where this post gets serious. We just jumped to raising animals for food;) . So, tell me. What are your thoughts on animals raised for food? Are you eating as much meat as you always have, or are you cutting down on your meat-eating? . I´m just a little curious in how many of you that actually has begun to think about this stuff, I feel a lot of people are trying to cut down on their meat-eating habits nowadays. Which actually is a good thing! . . . #earthfocus #instawildlife #naturegeography #earthgallery #discoverwildlife #natgeoyourshow #wildlifeplanet #animallovers #helpanimals #animalrights  #ps_daydream #splendid_vibe #way2ill #ps_animal #ps_opposites #art_select #creative_ace #beautifuldestinations #thecreativers #milliondollarvisuals #creativegrammer  #visualgrams #artofinstagram #artinspiration #illgrammers #artoftones  #photoshopart #enter_imagination #launchdsigns #theuniversalart #thecreativers

”Time’s running out” . When you see paper and wood, what do you think of? Do you think of the tree that was felled to make the product? Before we started to build cities many centuries ago, they say that 60% of the Earth was covered in Forests. Now, there is less than 10% left. In 100 years, there will be no rainforests. . As the world seeks to slow the pace of climate change and preserve wildlife, trees inevitably hold a major part of the answer. Yet the mass destruction of trees – deforestation – continues, sacrificing the long-term benefits of standing trees for short-term gain. . The forests are disappearing at an alarming rate. Which is pretty uncool, since many animals rely on forests and the deforestation obviously messes up their life. In fact, as much as 80% of the world's land-based species, such as elephants and tigers, live in these forests we are cutting down. . Sure, the numbers are grim, but all is not lost my friends. You can make a difference too. There are many ways to help save the forests that are remaining, but one of the simplest is the ”Reduce. Reuse. Recycle” mantra. Because everytime you live by these words means there will be a lower demand for products made from trees. And just like that, you have made yourself a part of the solution. . Have the best day earthlovers, and future! . . . #deforestation #animallovers #instawildlife #digital_indo #instawildlife #art_select #splendid_vibe #way2ill #heatercentral #xceptionaledits #creative_ace #milliondollarvisuals #creativegrammer #visualgrams #artofinstagram #artinspiration #illgrammers #artoftones #wildlifeplanet #photoshopart #enter_imagination #launchdsigns #theuniversalart #thecreativers #ourmoodydays #ourplanetdaily #thegraphicspr0ject #creative_ace #visualmobs

”Dumbo” . Today is the premier of an old Disney classic from 1941, who tells the story of a lovable baby circus elephant with huuuge ears. Sure, they might have made him the target of ridicule, but they also turned out to be quite magical and enabled him to fly. The film put elephants (flying or not) at the center of attention and as usual with Disney movies, teaching young viewers many valuable lessons about friends, family and the importance of believing in yourself. . It also teaches us a lesson of compassion, and it is compassion that I really want to talk about here, as Dumbo opens up in theaters once again. This time, the lesson of compassion should be extended for all those circus animals whose life is painfully real. . There are sadly still animals forced to perform tricks in front of big crowds around the world, otherwise risking cruel punishment. They are being kept in bad conditions, exploited for human entertainment, treated with violence and endlessly transported from place to place for the sole purpose of bringing in the bucks. . But this is a positive post, as always. We focus on the change! I haven’t seen the new movie yet, and I don’t know how the concept of a circus with performing animals will be treated in the movie, but I am very hopeful that the film will not propagate the fantasy of the circus being a glamorous and happy place for animals. I think Disney knows better than making circuses trendy again;) . I read that PETA asked the director to create a happy story to this remake, and we’ll soon know. Nevertheless, lets use the movie for a great opportunity to raise awareness about the issue of animal abuse in circuses – because many circuses, like Cirque de Soleil, have found success without using performing animals. It can be done! . . . #disney #dumbo #elephants #animalwelfare #animalrescue #natgeowild #wildlifeaddicts #wildlifeonearth #animalelite #animales #animallover #animallovers #compassion #wilderness #dosomething #wwf #peta #helpanimals #animalrights #boycottcircus #animallovers #circusprotest #wildlifeplanet #wildlife #wildlife_perfection #wildlife_seekers #rescue #animals #animalsofinstagram #animalprotection

”Lights out” . Tonight, we join millions around the world to support #EarthHour. We all will be switching off our lights to highlight the need for global action on climate change! . Wait, Earth what now hour? . Ok, short story. In 2004, @wwf met with advertising agency @leoburnettau to "discuss ideas for engaging Australians on the issue of climate change”. The idea of a large scale switch off was coined and developed, originally under the working title "The Big Flick". The first Earth Hour was held in 2007, in Sidney. . Following year, it was worldwide. 35 countries around the world participated as official flagship cities and over 400 cities supported. Landmarks around the world turned off their l lights for Earth Hour. Even websites took part in the event, with @google homepage going "dark" on the day. And it has only grown since. . But does it really matter? . Well, according to a Zogby International online survey, there was a 4% increase of interest in environmental issues directly after the event. But Earth Hour does not claim to be an energy/carbon reduction exercise, it is a symbolic action. An initiative to encourage individuals, businesses and governments around the world to engage in dialogue that provides real solutions to our environmental challenges. . Sure, earth hour should be every hour every day. But participation in Earth Hour symbolizes a commitment to change beyond the hour. So join me and millions around the world in celebrating Earth Hour by simply switching off your lights for 60 minutes from 8:30p-9:30p tonight! Saving money and the environment is always a win-win scenario! . #earth #climatechange #wwf #climatestrike #saturdayforfuture #instaearthhour #planetearth #connect2earth #earthour2019 #nature #EH19 #switchoff #theuniversalart #animalwelfare #photoshop #wildlifeaddicts #wildlifeonearth #artofinstagram #artinspiration #illgrammers #ourmoodydays #discoverglobe #artoftones #thecreativers #way2ill #launchdsigns #milliondollarvisuals #creativegrammer

”fLOVErs” . Hello there! . Can you guess why the snow leopard is sometimes called the ghost cat? Other leopards have orange or dark brown fur with black spots, but the snow leopard’s smoky gray color and blurred black markings make it look very different, and perfectly blend in with the surroundings. . But this cat's beautiful, dense coat that keeps it alive, is also the reason the "ghost cat" is in serious trouble! . The skin of large cats are very valuable in traditional Asian medicine. Tigers are the prefered species for this purpose, but tigers are so rare that it is almost impossible to find one in the wild so snow leopards are substituted for tigers. . When you consider that the people who live near snow leopards often earn less than 300 dollars per year and that a dead snow leopard is worth up to $10,000, it isn’t hard to understand why snow leopards are at risk. . Something has to be done, and there are in fact people out there dedicated to prevent the Snow Leopards extinction. One of them perhaps is someone you’ve heard of… following the success of Titanic in 1997, 24-year-old @leonardodicaprio established the @leonardodicapriofdn in 1998, a non-profit organization devoted to help the troubled animals of the world. . I love it when people in powerful positions (and with a little more money than us average Joe’s) choose to use their assets for the good of the planet, and I really hope it works as an inspiration for other famous individuals in their circles. . . . #snowleopard #animallovers #earthfocus #wildlifeplanet #instawildlife #naturegeography #discoverwildlife #photoshop #ourplanetdaily #theuniversalart #earthgallery #splendid_vibe #heatercentral  #creative_ace #beautifuldestinations #thecreativers #way2ill #launchdsigns #milliondollarvisuals #creativegrammer #natgeoyourshot #visualgrams #natgeo #artofinstagram #artinspiration #illgrammers #ourmoodydays #ps_animal #ps_opposites
